FAQ'S

Where are you based and where do you shoot?

I am a resident at The Chocolate Factory, just off O' Connell St, in Dublin 1. I mostly shoot weddings in Co Dublin and around Leinster. However, I shoot a small number of weddings around the country every year. I do love the occasional jaunt to the amazing venues that we have around the country.

Can we meet?

Absolutely, let's meet over a coffee and get to know each other. I'd love to find out all about you and what is most important to you about your wedding day. I have photographed over 400 weddings and have a aquired quite a lot of experience in all aspects of a weddings. I am always happy to share this advice to help make your day run perfectly. I can help you work out a timeline, suggest locations, and help you get your head around the day. If you don't live near Dublin we can connect over Skype or Facetime. Many of my couples live abroad and come home to get married. I find that an online chat can be almost as good as meeting in person.

We are nervous about having our photographs taken. What will you do with us?

I hear this a lot but there is nothing to be worried about, I promise. For most of your day, I’ll blend in, I’ll be like an extra friend you didn’t know you had. I will be moving through the day capturing natural unposed moments. When it comes to taking portraits of the two of you we'll just take about 20 minutes from the day. We'll go for a walk, it will very relaxed and a bit of fun. Most of my couples remember this part of the day as being a bit of special quiet time together and a lot of fun.

Are you insured?

Yes

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?

Oh yes, I love elopements! There's something so special and intimate about exchanging vows in secret or with your best friends witnessing. Chat with me about your plans and destination.

HOW DO WE SECURE OUR DATE?

A booking fee of €400 is required in order to make a booking. The balance is due on or before the day of the wedding.

How do we pay you?

I find the best method is by bank transfer, but cheques, cash, bank drafts or PayPal are fine too.

When will we get our photos?

It depends on the time of year but usually around 8-10 weeks in summer/autumn and 4/6 during winter/spring.
However, about a week or two after your wedding I will send you a link to a beautiful online slideshow with some of the highlights from the day. You can download a copy for yourselves and also share this with your friends and family. This should keep you going until the full collection is ready!

How many pictures will we receive?

It depends on how long you have me. But the average wedding day (starting with preparations until dinner) will include between 500-600 images. The shorter day has less and the longest day has more. I choose all of the best shots, the ones that work together to tell the story. Every single has been edited with my style.
This is an average amount and may vary depending on the size of the wedding.
If you have a second shooter you will get considerably more images.

Are there any additional charges after the wedding that we should know about?

No, the price stated is the price you pay.
After the wedding you can add on extra's such as albums and prints.

Do you take formal family photographs on the day also?

Yes, I do, I like to make this as quick and fun as possible. My family formals are not so 'Formal'! The trick is to be organized. I will bring a detailed list of all of the groups required and enlist the help of your bridal party to gather everyone up. We'll take these shots as quickly as possible and get you back to your party.

Do we get copyright of our images?

Copyright is complicated but in a nutshell For Tomorrow photography keeps copyright but grants clients the right to do practically anything with their photos with the exception of commercial use, this is standard practice within the Wedding Industry.

DO YOU REQUIRE DINNER?

If coverage continues until the first dance, I would really appreciate something to eat. When you are eating I will not be taking photographs, so some dinner would keep my energy levels up for all the evening dancing.
You don't need to include me as a guest, a quick bite at the bar would be lovely.

Do you charge extra for travel?

After 100 miles from Dublin, I add a minimal mileage rate, and accommodation if required. I'll do my best to keep these expenses to a minimum.

If you have a question that is not answered above, just drop me a line and I get back to you asap.

“On the day itself, Leanne was very unobtrusive, putting everyone at ease and blending into the crowd to capture some fabulous shots of us with our guests. She really understood what we wanted and captured the tone and the atmosphere of our day perfectly. We would highly recommend Leanne”
