A little bit about me…
I’m a very lucky wife and mum to a great little crew — my husband Lionel and our two brilliant girls, Holly and Penny. We live in North Dublin City. Lionel and I are technically “blow-ins,” but the girls are true locals and like to remind us of that!
I have a big soft spot for music, good food, polka dots, gardening, dangly earrings, art, movies, and anything with a bit of vintage charm. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at a concert, rummaging around a flea market, pottering in the garden, or happily tucking into Japanese food somewhere. And if I’m really lucky, I’m in France or Spain with my little family, soaking up the sunshine and going on adventures.
I studied photography at Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design and Fine Art at The Crawford College of Art in Cork. Over 20 years ago, I photographed a friend’s wedding in Reykjavik, Iceland, and something just clicked. All those years of training suddenly made sense. I was in a new and exciting place, being creative with my camera, surrounded by happy people — and I absolutely loved it.
I find people so interesting, Im a sociable person and love meeting new people so weddings are such a perfect fit for me. Im good at making couples and their guests feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera — usually with a few laughs along the way. And the fact that I get to attend beautiful, joy-filled celebrations for a living? I truly feel so lucky to call this my dream job.
“It was great to have such a friendly and warm professional like yourself there on the day. Thank you for all the memories and laughs!”
My approach..
If you're planning a wedding in Dublin and want photographs that feel bright, natural, and full of personality, you're in the right place. My approach to wedding photography is simple: capture the real moments, the big laughs, the slightly chaotic dance floor moves, and everything in between.
With over 20 years of experience and more than 600 weddings photographed, I bring a lot more than just a photography style. You’re getting someone who knows how to read a room, calm the nerves, write and keep the timeline flowing, and make sure you’re actually enjoying your wedding day instead of worrying about it.
I’m there for the genuine stuff — the quiet moments before the ceremony, the uncontrollable laughter during speeches, and the absolute madness once the music starts. My goal is always the same: relaxed, fun wedding photography that feels like you.
Some of My Favourite Wedding Venues in Dublin and Beyond
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings in some incredible venues. A few favourites that always make for amazing photographs include:
- Fallon & Byrne
- The Millhouse
- Dublin City Hall
- Boyne Hill House
- Smock Alley Theatre
- The Village Barn
- Mount Druid
- Dublin Civil Registry Office
Each venue has its own character — from historic Dublin city venues to relaxed countryside celebrations — and I love adapting my approach to match the atmosphere of the day and each couples personality.
Whether you're planning a city wedding in Dublin, an intimate registry office ceremony, or a full weekend celebration in the countryside, I focus on creating photographs that are colourful, joyful, and completely natural.
No awkward posing.
No turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
Just great moments, great people, and a brilliant day captured properly.
If that sounds like your kind of wedding photography, we’ll probably get along very well.
