I’ve been photographing weddings at The Millhouse for about 14 years now… I think! I’ve honestly lost count — which probably says it all. And I still absolutely love it.
There are so many reasons I adore shooting at this venue. The industrial-meets-romantic setting along the banks of the River Boyne is just magic. It has that relaxed, rustic charm, paired with a variety of stunning backdrops that make every wedding feel unique. And the team? Truly second to none. They’re experienced, enthusiastic, and completely dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly — and that you’re having the time of your life.
Having photographed so many weddings there, I know all the best spots — where the light is perfect, the dreamiest backdrops, the ideal places for group shots, and even the clever little rain plans (because, let’s be honest, we’re in Ireland!). I’m always happy to help you shape a smooth running order for the day, and once everything’s in place, I’ll quietly blend into the background — capturing all those natural, candid moments while gently guiding you so you can spend as much time as possible with your guests.
I love the venue so much that my own sister got married there — and I was absolutely thrilled she took my advice. For once, I got to experience it as a guest! The food is incredible, the rooms are wonderfully cosy, and the whole atmosphere is just fantastic.
