Orla and Conor were my first wedding of 2023 and I was so spoilt. It was a brilliant way to start my working year. Orla is a bridal designer at Sharon Hoey. Together with her team at Sharon Hoey Orla designed and made her wedding dress. I have to say I nearly fell over when I say it (I do love a good dress!) Her bespoke gold dress with cape was like something that would be very at home at the Met Ball but also perfect as her wedding dress.
The gold dress was not my only first at this wedding. I was introduced to three fabulous venues in Dublin. Orla got ready in The gorgeous Wilder Guest House, they got married in the Irish Architectural Archive and had their reception at Number 25 Fitzwilliam Place.
Number 25 Fitzwilliam Place is one of my new favorite Dublin Venues. It is glamorous, intimate and sophisticated yet relaxed enough to have a darned good party. I was really taken by the staff who paid incredible attention to every detail and made sure that the bride and grooms every desire was met and the food was amazing too.
I love it when the venue suits the couple perfectly. Orla and Conor were so at home in 25 Fitzwilliam Place the setting was the perfect backdrop for their glamorous style making them look like brat pack characters. Thanks Orla and Conor it was a really treat working with you both.
